One of the classic cattleyas, C. purpurata (synonym is Laelia purpurata) blooms in June with spikes of 3 - 5 absolutely glorious flowers. The carnea color form is a white with a rare pink lip. These seedlings are line bred by Carter and Holmes and should be of superior quality.
