A very reliable and showy Maxillaria that is so wonderfully fragrant it stinks up our entire greenhouse when it blooms! Originally purchased by Marilyn LeDoux of Windy Hill Orchids as Max. ubatubana, the Species Identification Task Force decided it was actually Max. picta. Very easy to grow in bright indirect light, and evenly moist in chopped moss mix or medium bark. Blooming size (BS) division in 6" rounds.
