Some consider this a variation of Bulb. lobbii. , but as they say; 'a rose by any other name would smell as sweet'. Growth habit and form very similar to any of the Bulb. lobbii and grow exactly the same. Lovely 3 inch flowers with maroon markings. We are also using this as a stud plant in our breeding program and producing some great new hybrids.
Available as established potted plants or I will cut you a new division of four to five pseudobulbs with at least one active growth point.
Bulbophyllums are pretty tough critters and ship well as bare root divisions. Grow warm and keep wet with good drainage.
