When awarded the highest cultural award from the American Orchid Society this plant has was described as having four hundred sixty-eight flowers and 447 buds borne over 38 staked, arching, sequentially blooming inflorescences and grown in a 12 inch bulb pan. The cute little hairy triangular flowers last several weeks and since they open sequentially the plant is in bloom for up to eight weeks.
An easy species to grown, like most bulbophyllums it likes it warm and wet. Grow in bulb pans or mount.
