Enormous stellate (star shaped) flowers held high on tall spikes. Unlike many bulbophyllum the pseudobulbs are closely spaced so the plant does not 'wander'. Grow in shallow 'bulb pans', moderately bright light and keep moist. Be warned, this is one of the 'stinky' ones. The fragrance is generally described as extremely unpleasant. Understandable as this species is pollinated by flies. Well established seedlings in two inch pots.
