One of the 38 species in section Racemosae;
these are sometimes called 'pine cone orchids'. This one is found in Assam, eastern Himalayas, Bhutan, India, Andaman Islands, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam.
Vigorous grower, blooms in the fall with 3-4 inch inflorescenses of tightly held orangish flowers. I will provide newly cut divisions of 4 -6 pseudobulbs shipped bare root for you to pot up in the media of your choice.
Bulbos are tough and ship bare root just fine. Grow in moderate light and temps and keep them watered.
